In Core Invest, a collective dream began to take shape after its MVP launch. A forward-thinker team shared a singular vision: the birth of Bull & Bear Vector. This investment platform would transcend the pursuit of profit to embrace the pillars of ethical investing and community enrichment. They envisioned a place where conscious investors could effortlessly align their resources with their values through green tech, local enterprises, or educational initiatives.
Aware that their ambitious vision would require an execution as robust as the idea, they acknowledged that the platform’s triumph would be owed to an outstanding user experience and interface. It was not just about what Bull & Bear Vector could do but how it made users feel while doing it.
The United UX/UI Challenge
The Core Invest team faced a critical task: crafting a platform as groundbreaking and meaningful as the investments it showcased. To pinpoint their design direction, they first identified their audience — socially responsible investors of various experience levels, united by a profound concern for the impact of their investments.
The interface needed to be welcoming and transparent, conveying a sense of trust and sophistication while hinting at the innovative spirit of the platform. For user experience, the team agreed on shifting the core MVP idea to Goggle Cloud Platform to provide better user experience and more advanced API integrations.
A Synergy of Minds
To turn this vision into reality, the team welcomed me for the next stage, to craft digital experiences that connect with users on a personal level. I joined the collaborative effort, delving into the nuances of ethical investing to truly comprehend the users’ needs and aspirations.
A Collective Design Endeavor
The initial step was formulating user personas, a mosaic reflecting Bull & Bear Vector’s diverse prospective clientele. Following this, we mapped out user journeys tailored to each persona, laying the groundwork for a personalized user experience.
The team then entered a dynamic phase of design sprints, where my expertise fused with the developers’ technical prowess. Together, in a flurry of activity, we refined mockups and prototypes. Crucially, we incorporated feedback about the MVP project from the Core Invest community to enhance the new platform.
